On a roll with ongoing episodes of Back to the Future: The Game, and this spring’s debut of Jurassic Park, Telltale Games aren’t stopping there. The Wall Street Journal‘s All Things D reports the developer is set to announce two new license adaptations later today: the first based on DC Comics’ nine-year old Fables series, to be published by Warner Bros., and the second based on comic-turned- hit AMC TV show The Walking Dead. Rumors about an episodic take on the zombie franchise cropped up in early January.
Telltale’s announcement-laden event is slated to happen in the coming hours, so stay tuned. Three other reveals are expected as well.

[Update]: Stack up, check your weapons and get ready for the zombie horde. Right on schedule, Telltale has confirmed The Walking Dead games, a “multi-year, multi-platform, multi-title” deal in collaboration with creator Robert Kirkman.
Official details, art, and the like aren’t yet available, but the first entry of the episodic project is slated to release sometime in Q4 2011, alongside the debut of the second season of AMC’s live-action TV series. No specified genre or platforms, but given Telltale’s recent focus, it seems like PC/Mac, PS3 and iDevices are likely; maybe TWD will hit XBLA, too?
“The game is at an early stage, and we’re in the process of mapping this all out now,” said Kirkman, who also revealed that the games are based on the comic universe, not the TV show.

As for Jurassic Park, whose first installment kicks off in April, the company dropped the debut trailer today showing dinos and park rangers in action, bringing those stunning screenshots to life.
All of Telltale’s games are scheduled to to eventually land at retail as disc-based products, in addition to their digital versions.
