“Jimmy’s Vendetta” added some arcade, point-based flair to Mafia II earlier this month, but it didn’t really extend or affect the story of the main characters at all. That changes in the near future with “Joe’s Adventure”, the first story-based DLC for 2K Games’ sequel, focused on Vito Scaletta’s F-word loving, drunken buddy Joe Barbaro.

The new add-on is set during the time span in the gamer where  *spoilers* Vito is sent to prison *spoilers*, and shows what Joe was up to, getting his feet wet with the mafia. Discover “the truth behind Vito’s prison sentence and what’s really going on in the Clemente family,” says 2K.  Players will get to explore new locations like a “train station, the cathouse, a boat yard, a seasonally-changing lakefront and some never-before-seen buildings in Empire Bay,” acquire new clothing, experience fresh music, and take part in all-new side missions with their own leaderboards.

Joe’s Adventure is currently without a price point or release date, but due for PC,  PSN and Xbox LIVE.
