Star Wars fans had their worlds turned upside down at the end of the original Force Unleashed, with LucasArts managing to very cleverly and successfully add to the canon, and alter what we knew about the universe. An attempt to repeat that same level of suprise and unexpectedness is being made with the sequel, and the studio says the ending will leave more questions open, and have fans wondering “Holy shit! How did that happen?”

Julio Torres, project lead on The Force Unleashed II told SciFiNow,If you filter the story itself, I think it is not less epic, especially once you finish it – it’s pretty fucking cool! For Star Wars fans, they’re going to go, like, ‘Holy shit! How did that happen? And what are they gonna do now?’ So I think the epicness is going to be there for Star Wars fans especially.I should define epic – the fact we are introspective and using [Starkiller's] development to figure himself out in the story of TFU II is not a takeaway from the epicness. It’s just a feel we want people to understand this guy more and more, because I want him – we want him – to become a significant character in the universe.

Torres adds: “In order for that to happen, you have to care about him, and just because we’re doing that, we’re not taking anything away from the impact in that timeframe. And at the end, I’ll hear from you guys, but my sense is that it’s going to be epic enough and it’s going leave enough open questions and cool questions that’ll keep this thing fuelled and people talking about it.

I have to admit my interest is piqued at the “What are they going to do now” aspect, considering rumor has it LucasArts’ new president recently killed off the third title. Anyway, just trying to imagine what can top *spoiler* the formation of the Rebel Alliance *spoiler* has me anxious. October 26th. Get ready.
