Its a slow week for iOS games, or at least the ones I care about. Even with Angry Birds Space hitting the app store, which I left it off this list because… its Angry Birds, that’s why. These games are more up my alley, even though I secretly DO love me some pig-smashing, sling-shoot insanity.
This side-scrolling runner has some beautiful art, and plays a lot like the iOS version of Mirrors Edge. I’m playing it now, and it’s quite a challenge. Review coming.
Hunters was a tactical turn-bad strategy game which received high praise from the iOS community. Hunters 2 looks to continue the success with more X-Com-inspired gameplay.
Monster Tamer / HD
Pokemon like, enough said.
Battleloot Adventure HD
Battles, loot, and RPG-action sounds like a good time. Hopefully this doesn’t take a “lite” stance on the RPG elements.
Hunger Games : Girl on Fire
I don’t know what all this Hunger Games “hooplah” is, but Girl on Fire is an endless running that will suck up a lot of your free minutes and stimulate your senses. Surprisingly respectful for a movie promotional tool.
If you or a friend have a game you think should end up on my weekly list of games, leave a comment and I can POSSIBLY make it happen. Till next week.
