Fable III is almost out the door, arriving a little over two years after Fable II sucked Xbox 360 gamers back in for dozens and dozens of hours. So, will there be another, a fourth somewhere down the road? Surely our adventures in Albion (and now Aurora) have other avenues to explore? Lionhead Studios is ran by Peter Molyneux, The Great Promiser — of course there will be.
Speaking at Gamescom this week, Molyneux said to NowGamer: “I’ve never understood this obsession with trilogies, I love making and spending time in this world. Why wouldn’t I make Fable 4?”
Well, that was quite to the point. Thanks for that, Pete! Lionhead currently have not only Milo & Kate still in development for 2011/2012, but also a third unannounced project. If that isn’t Fable IV, it’s going to be a couple of years before the series returns most likely. What sort of additions and changes could make their way into the franchise by then? Hopefully the promised Kinect implementation, for one.

im excited
If Lion head do make fable 4 i have some good points that should be put to mind: It shouldnt be on kinect, it should go back to before fable 1 when you fight dragons and all that. I know that isnt much points but thank you for your time!
Yeah I think fable should continue. Through everything, no one said how jack of blades started or why he turned bad. Maybe they should also add the guildmaster from the first one as an ally.
I really think that Fable 4 Should be a prequel to Fable 1.The old kingdom should be alive and engaging, the heroes guild should be at at its height, the landscape should be crawling with heroes, and among other things dragons, should be very prevalent.
Ancient people and lands should figure prominently and we should see how the world of Fable 1 was shaped by old world and the Archons.
I agree with the comment above me. Me and my buddys AJ and Ketchup (nicknames) would like to know how it all started.
NO KINECT
