It’s the world’s first winter holiday in the apocalypse. That’s right, the official date of the New Year has been determined by the Archivist Coalition, a group of surviving scholars dedicated to uncovering traditions of holidays past.

Now, amongst all the post-apocalyptic chaos and clear of any confusion of the true date, the Coalition has decided to sponsor “First Night,” in celebration! Wastelanders from all over the Grand Canyon Province have been invited to join in the festivities and even some factions have managed to put aside their differences in true holiday spirit.

Wastelanders have turned to sipping bubbly, building dirt men (aka, the post-apocalyptic snowman) and eating Figgy Pudding for the holidays. And what’s a holiday without S.A.N.T.A.?! Oh, there will be presents in the apocalypse! The Seasonal Arctic Network of Toy-based Altruism (S.A.N.T.A) has banded together with their helpers-the Emissaries Leaving Free Stuff (E.L.F.S) to bring joy to wasteland survivors – in the form of Fruitcake, Mistletoe, Top Hats, Gift Boxes and more!

So, if you’d like a peek into the holidays circa 2156, survivors have sent a few post cards back in time for you to enjoy!
