Terrorists, are you ready? Counter-terrorists, how about you?

Beginning development in March of 2010, Valve is attempting to create an updated experience for those in the competitive world and for those who have never dived into the original Half-Life mod (is there really anyone who hasn’t played Counter-Strike?). Last year on August 12th 2011, Valve revealed CS: GO would be coming to the consoles and PC.

According to a tweet made four days ago by the official development account, the beta for the next Counter-Strike title will start on November 30th. Those with a beta key will have the chance to play in the update maps Dust and Dust2. What other maps do you really need anyway?

For those interested in beta testing, you’ll have to update your desktop as the closed beta and public beta will be only on the PC. The public beta is due out sometime early next year as you can expect the title to be released before E3 2012. For more information on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, check here!
