Sure, I’m still reeling from the news that Dead Rising 2 is delayed, but I guess the final box art can cheer me up some. Right? Alright, not really. Nice try, Capcom.

Take a look up there. Yep, that’s what you will see sitting on stores shelves come September 28th when Blue Castle Games’ zombie-packed sequel finally releases. Not bad, but terribly fantastic like the original game’s cover, either.

More exciting is the announcement of a lofty Limited Edition that I would be all over, were it not for the fact that it’s currently an European-only product. For a currently unknown price, the “The Outbreak Pack” includes a 12″ zombie figurine with accessories, a download token for a bonus theme pack, and bonus content for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. Europeans can shamble down to their local stores and pick up this nifty edition on October 1st.
